Rickey's Bar and Grill was opened in 1999 on Coleman Avenue in Waveland Ms.
The restaurant quickly became a local favorite. Partners Bill Boyd and Rickey Peters were a great team. Bill Boyd had owned and operated several popular clubs in both New Orleans and Florida before moving to the coast and Rickey Peters reputation as one of the best local chefs made the location a instant success.

KATRINA
Hurricane Katrina however change everything. The restaurant was totally destroyed by the storm surge as was both Bill and Rickey' houses. For several months it was questionable if they would reopen. Then one night Rickey had a dream. In his dream he saw a new location and a new restaurant. The next day he followed his dream to a new location on Hwy 90 in Bay St. Louis. After months of hard work the new Rickey's opened and soon the business was back on its feet and had waiting lines for both lunch and dinner.

NEW LOCATION
Rickey's new location is 603 Hwy 90, Suite L in Bay St. Louis. From the outside it looks like a small local dinner but as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by beautiful wall murals through out the cozy eatery.
